Inside, on the contrary is decorated in neutral shades with a minimalist, contemporary feel. Air-conditioned throughout, the villa’s open-plan kitchen/dining room is on a raised level with doors to an al fresco sitting room terrace overlooking the beautiful bay. Below, at either side of the swimming pool - so ideal for a morning dip, two double bedrooms are each privately accessed only from the garden. The top floor of the house is shared by a third double bedroom and the master suite, which opens on to a balcony with blissful views; while outside, paved paths lead through lawned gardens to a dining area under the trees. The shops, beach and harbour-front tavernas of St Stephano are just a ten minute walk away via a shady path, or a short drive.
